Game Informer continues their coverage of South Park: The Game with a video interview with the CEO of Obsidian, the developer of the game. Below is a rundown of the 8 minute video.

• Trey and Matt went to Obsidian first with an idea for a game (usually the developer initiates).
• Trey put over 100 hours into Oblivion.
• Obsidian did two proofs of concept to show how the game could look exactly like the show.
• Matt played the demo saying, “it was like playing the show”.
• The game has a lot of depth in missions and comedy so both RPG and South Park fans will enjoy it.
• Chris ‘Crispy’ Brion, the decade plus South Park art and animation director, is involved as well.
• It’s not going to be a recap of old stories, but will be “another extension to everything that is South Park because it is coming directly from Matt and Trey.”
• They aren’t going to worry about the ESRB rating, but will focus on making it true to South Park. Jokingly, “It needs a lot of swearing, it needs a lot of children dying, it needs just… things that happen are just crazy.”
