South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge Gets Major Tweaks

A patch has been released for South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, with the developers hoping that it will greatly improve the gameplay experience. Included within the update is the new ability to swap between characters in the middle of a level, meaning players could in theory start the level as Kenny and end as Cartman. Furthermore, players can now drop out of a local game without the game ending, jump around 5 tiles higher and move about 30% faster.
The original game was almost too hard to beat, but this patch fixes pretty much everything. Other important changes include that the amount of Time Cores needed to unlock new levels has been lowered and the starting amount of lives has been increased. Click through to see the full list of changes.

Josh Gad’s 1600 Penn Goes to Series
1600 Penn, from 20th TV, is a family comedy set in the White House. Josh Gad co-created the show with Jon Lovett and is starring. Bill Pullman, Jenna Elfman and Martha MacIsaac co-star. The pilot was directed by Jason Winer, who also directed the pilots for two comedy series on the air, ABC’s Modern Family andDon’t Trust The B. Ditto for Animal Practice helmers Anthony and Joe Russo who also directed the pilots for NBC’s Community and ABC’s Happy Endings and serve as executive producers on both.
Hmm, a sitcom set in the White House, sounds oddly familiar…
I’m just kidding around. The show looks really original and it’s always great to see The Book of Mormon alums succeed in new projects! Check out the teaser trailer:

Matt Stone is Thanked in the Credits of ‘The Dictator’
I went to a midnight showing of Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator and saw Matt listed in the “Special Thanks” section of the credits! Both Trey and Matt are thanked in the same section for Borat and Matt is thanked in Brüno as well. No idea how Matt contributed to the project, but hilarious film either way!

South Park: The Game renamed to South Park: The Stick of Truth
Does The Upcoming South Park RPG Have a Name? - Game Trailers:
Not officially, as neither Obsidian Entertainment nor THQ has confirmed as much. But according to a recent listing on Xbox Live Marketplace, the game would seem to be carrying ‘The Stick of Truth” wording in its title.
The Xbox.com game listing (now removed) also had a description of the game:
“From the perilous battlefields of the fourth-grade playground, a young hero will rise, destined to be South Park’s savior. From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes an epic quest to become… cool. Introducing South Park: The Stick of Truth.”
The new title could be both a play on the series of fantasy novels The Sword of Truth and a bit of a callback to Make Love, Not Warcraft’s Sword of a Thousand Truths. The page also mentioned offline co-op for up to two players, but nothing is confirmed until Obsidian or THQ have a say.

South Park “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” iOS app released

The game is a simple implementation of the Who Wants to be a Millionaire format with questions all themed around the South Park show. The game also features authentic South Park speech and animated sequences before, after and during play. Unlike the console version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire Special Editions, which allows players to purchase and download a variety of themed content packs, this iOS title is a standalone game.
And just like the console version of the game, the best part is… most of you CAN’T GET IT!
The game is only being released in Europe for now as they have to work out licensing issues in order to bring it to the U.S.A. I guess we Americans finally have a reason to visit Europe.

It’s been a year since Bin Laden was killed, so this just seems appropriate.
South Park even killed Bin Laden twice! First in 2001’s Osama bin Laden Has Farty Pants and then again in 2010’s It’s A Jersey Thing. That’s one more time than the United States government.
